I've been working on my first "doll", Pineapple Sage. The plant pineapple sage has bright red flowers...hence the hair color on little Miss Sage.
I am having so much fun that I'm going to make more.

Absolutely Awesome! Love her.
She's made of wood pieces I got at a Joanne store and her clothes are paper, ribbons, tiny beads, paint et al. The face is a pin that I removed the back off of and repainted her face. I used fibers for her hair.
I painted the wood with so many colors and embossed it...I have to learn to stop earlier on. :)
Oh....love your doll....since I started blogging I have met so many dollmakers and began making dolls myself....it is so much fun...and these dolls practically make themselves....Yours is precious!
