L is for Light

We can see the light,
light a candle,
make light of something,
do some light reading,
there is the speed of light and light colors,
we can cook light and travel light,
we can dance by the light of the moon,
and if we are lucky
we can enjoy the Northern Lights

I agree with Neva.

Whenever i hear the song "Northern Lights" it always makes me think of returning home, her up North where men are men and the sheep are worried! LOL!

I'd love to go north and see the Aurora Borealis in all its splendour. We see glimpses of them here in Scotland but nothing like the photos you can find on the net.

I like how you used the word "light" in many different ways - very original! Someday I hope to catch a glimpse of those Northern Lights!

Very nice poem. It is interesting seeing what all "L" subjects are thought of.

We've seen the Northern Lights here...rarely, but we've seen them. It's beautiful.
