It's a German dessert that is eaten with whipped heavy cream.
I made a new friend and this is the dessert she made for my visit. I was honored that she did that. She, L, is the mother of DD's boyfriend.
I think she liked me. I don't always make a good first impression, I'm more the type that you learn to like over time...like a disease or fungus that grows on you!

The dessert looks yummy! Would be so nice to not only have smell a vision but also to be able to reach inside the computer screen and be served a piece of the pie! If first offered of course.
