The lilacs are blooming...The Iris is blooming...

Which of course means that the weeds are growing and well, they've gotta go!
I have spent the last few days weeding and cleaning up.
Doesn't help the crushed disc much, but someone's gotta do it eh?!
Today is DD's birthday...she'll probably want to go out to dinner.

Have you ever met a person who could make you happy just looking at his smiling face and know that if he met you, he would love you no matter who you were or how ridiculously dorky you were?
I was lucky to meet such a man and to meet him more than once at that! I am also the proud owner of some of his music. He writes and sings music for children that both children and adults love.
Well, I received an email saying that Tom is very ill. He has been diagnosed with CJD, an illness that is rapidly destroying his brain.
I am so sad. I can't seem to quit crying. He is a precious human being.

Fun in the E.R.

Today I couldn't take the pain anymore and went to the E.R. to cry about my neck, shoulder, arm, hand and fingers. they hurt and have for a long time, but are worse these last five days.
"What number is your pain at?" it's at a big fat nine I told her...
After an MRI and five hours of being on a heavy pain pill, I was told that I need neck surgery and pretty darn soon.
Now I wait for the Neurologist to call...

We were married in Lake Tahoe California at the Love Chapel by Reverend Love.
We were out front dressed all pretty, taking photos and people were honking at us and calling us fools!
It was funny!

A wonderful day

Recently I spent the day with my friend and here girls. It's the friend I gave the baby shower for a while back.
Well, first off we went and her middle sweetie got a haircut.

She was so patient...

She looks beautiful!

Then while middle sweetie was having dance class, third sweetie decided to fill her cute little pants and boy did she ever!

Mom can change her sitting on her leg...I was mesmerized and the baby just smiled and never fussed!

then we headed to see sweetie of the first degree play soccer...I can't believe I didn't take pics of that.
It was a wonderful day because I was able to visit and play and converse and eat and spend time with some of the best girls ever!

Okay, so, I participated in the Robin's Egg Blue book swap a while back and I was happy with my page and LOVE the book I got back...can't find the picks of it and don't have my camera to take more right now, but here's a pic of them before I finished all the embellishing.

Now for the tickled pink part...I saw that someone I visit daily has my page on her last post...Jennifer Holiday at Everyday is a Holiday has my page on her post...I just adore her and there is my page...ee hee hee...Love it!

Today I will visit Mom at the convalescent home she lives in and take her some new shoes.
She likes Birkenstocks, so that's what she's getting.
