An eight year old boy named Kyle has lost his battle with a form of brain cancer.

Shoe painting

My sisters black "magical" shoes.
The one in the back has been covered in gesso.

Here is where I am now.
They need some gold or bronzey gold.
More "sparkle" and a little splatter.

Waitin' for the bus

The other morning while waiting for the school bus, I took some pics.

Ah, the moon through the trees...at 7:28 in the morning!

And finally a young 'un with wet hair...really I'm a good mom and the bus is real close to showing up.
Up here we are used to the cold and we forget not to go out with wet hair and coats.
Actually at her school, they don't have lockers, so if they take something to school, they carry it all day long. Hence, the not wanting to take a coat to school.
Yesterday morning it was bit brighter, every morning now we will get a few more minutes of sun.

Sisters picture

My friend A has three young girls and they're sweet as can be.
So I made them this painting. It's a bit silly, but they love it.
I need practice with making faces.

It's nice to have my computer back now. I really missed it.
Oh, I put the thought out in the universe that I wanted Thai, but I didn't say what kind of Thai and in the mailbox was a package for my sister from Thailand and it was covered in about twenty stamps...Thai stamps. So I got my Thai...but it wasn't food.

My very own personal chunky book put together by my friend Mary Ann at
Follow Your Bliss designs. Can you imagine someone putting a book together just for you? I still can't believe she and the wonderful ladies involved did it. It is beautiful and made me cry.
I LOVE it.
