Oy... this is blurry. I guess I should read the destructions about settings on the camera.
I get to this point and go blank on what to post. I lead a very dull and eventless life for the most part. I work in an office, however it's just me and the husband...and the cat.
Yesterday, I took my daughter to Jack-in-the-box and the woman at that took our order...my age...was rude and condescending. She didn't care that we weren't pleased with the taste of the drinks...normally a flat soda can be overlooked, but not when you're told, "Honey, I can't help you and you can either drink what's there or nothing." I lost it and demanded the manager drink every type of drink from the machine...I was pointing my finger and raising my voice and said ...Oh I was not pleased with this lady...The manager was great, but the employee in question kept making little remarks the whole time and talked about us to others as though I wasn't standing there. I asked her her name and said I'd be reporting her. As I was leaving I heard her tell the manager..."Well I'm sorry but..." There's no but about it, just tell me that the machine was just switched over, don't start a fight....Well, I reported her to the big company.. I'd never in my life been treated like that in a restaurant.
My daughter was shocked. She feels that I'm timid and avoid situation...wait, she's right. :) She once said that she wanted her dad to take her to the doctor because,"Mom, you're too timid...Dad gets the answers."
Well, there's a post.

YeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Good for you, sometimes you just have to tell yourself "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore"!!
Here you were asking for blog help and look what you have accomplished. Your's is the most unique banner I've seen, I LOVE it! AND you have music too. WAY TO GO!!!
XOXO
Love what you did with it. Good for you on not taking the bull from her. My daughter earns her living being published in scrapbook mags and idea books her bank has always cashed her checks until the last two and now they say they are questionable checks. Now these are checks from big companys. Today they told her she could have half of the money and they would have to put a 10 business day hold on the other half. She left the little branch and went to the main office in town and told them that it was bull and she was going to another bank. The manager then told her well it was the cashiers call but it should have never happened and he let her have the rest of her money. So sometimes it helps to speak up.
I'm glad she got her money Ninnie.
Speaking up has never been my strong suit, but I'm getting better at it.
Great to find you here in Bloggerland! This is about the only place I can operate! LOL!
Pop over and say hello!

Hello and thank you for stopping by my blog!
Congratulations on speaking up. I have a hard time speaking up, too. I usually just let my anger simmer, which doesn't help me or anyone else, so I'm working on being more assertive.
