In the center of the picture on the bottom is a sweet little fawn. It is so small it can barely be seen. Mom was off to the left watching me. They were on the other side of the fence, but they come into the yard sometimes too...I think that they can stay on that side!
A young buck showed up yesterday. He has white spots and fuzzy antlers. I will ask him for a photo shoot.
Toodles!

A friend told me their neighbors called and said a Cougar was up one of there trees. It was a Bobcat. A little Fawn was not far and the Bobcat came down the tree and took off. They save the Fawn. They didn't get a good photo. And forgot to get the video camera out.
Cute photos.
Have a Lovely Day!

I wish they had edit in the comments. I noticed on some comments I made that I spelled the words wrong or put there instead of their in the sentence. Oh, well. I think you know what I mean.
I knew what you meant :)
We get raccoons and I worry about that. Haven't seen any big cats, but it's always possible. Coyotes are a concern and we have HUGE Bald Eagles around here every day.
Thanks for the visit.
WOW! What a beautiful place t olive! YOU live in a retreat! I want to move to the country.. I love the music you have playing!
The back yard was once a bird sanctuary. Well, basically it still is and we like it that way. The pond has a little island in the middle and thats where mama goose sat on her nest...safe away from my cats, eagles and large animals!
OH my what wonderful surroundings you have, like your own forest.... and with it your own wee wild kingdom. I enlarged the second photo and had you not mentioned the fawn I never would have seen it.
Please do share if the buck agrees to that photo shoot!
XOXO
How COOL. I've seen a lot of baby geese and ducklings this year; I never really had before. I don't know why. Maybe because I lived in cities... and in the desert before that. But it's been pretty cool to see them. No deer in our neighborhood, though.
Radiogirl,
Every once in awhile a deer wonder's into the city here. We had a Bear not far and I was at someones home one day and it looked like a lrg coyoto. Maybe it was a Wolf. We are close to a River and there are woods in places not far. So maybe that is why.
Have a Lovely Evening.
