C5,C6,C7 and some titanium

Our little forest of greens.

These are some killer water faucets. You have to put your back into it to get the handle up and the water running. We's country folk, in town. About an eighth of a mile up the road and down the road are city limits...we are in the county. Mall above us, housing below...there's a song in there somewhere.
I am learning more about my upcoming surgery. I am not posting pics, however, I found some gnarley pictures of the titanium cage and plates that are inserted in place of the damaged bone, et al. They may have been too much for my 20 year old to see! Yikes.
I am anxious for the pain relief, but nervous for the surgery. I have never been nervous about surgery, however there is always a first.
I have to see the oncologist first to make sure that my platelet count is at a good enough level for surgery. I am definitely a bleeder with this ITP I have. ITP and neck surgery are not happy friends.
Did I mention that my C5,C6and C7 are basically trashed? Well, they are and it hurts...more every day.
Be good to your back and neck and be safe with lifting and all that good stuff!

I'll be in there saying a little prayer too, sweetie. I have neck problems also, in the same "C's", not nearly as severe, but painful so I can relate somewhat. Sending you gentle hugs. I too would be there to help afterwards if I were closer.

Your dd's pics are BEAUTIFUL! xoxoxoxoxo

You're in my prayers. I hope your pain subsides a bit and your worries diminish as well. Thankfully my upper cervical problems are not as extensive, but I know a bit about the pain you must be feeling. Keep strong.

Oh friends, Titanium steel is more grusome sounding then it is! I should know I have enough of it! I can honestly say since my knee replacement and spine surgery I am FREE of pain!Surgery isn't as bad honestly as the rotten meds, now those are what you have to watch!! Write me anytime! The advances in this surgery are amazing. Everytime I see my doc he has many people in the waiting room who have had this surgery and all are doing wonderful. I'd say you'll be happily surprised by the outcome! Love,Lori
