Happy Halloween out there.
My platelet count has gone way down again even though I'm on steroids to bring it up for surgery.
Down I tell ya...what's up with that? I stay on the Prednisone through next week, have a blood draw and if it isn't better, then I guess it's on to a transfusion. This is so disheartening.
Did I mention that Prednisone makes one depressed? Well, at this moment after hearing the news from the doctor, I am as low as one can go I think.
My Mom said that her count dropped dramatically as well and she starts another round of chemo this week.

Im sorrie you've not up to 100%. My dad goes thru this a lot and it's no fun.
Anything I can do to cheer you up..um, charm swap, wine drinking, another sedona trip perhaps? lol

oh and I'm sorry to hear you Mom has to have more Chemo. When it rains it pours, doesn't it? My thoughts are with her too.
