I feel as though a piece of my world, my heart, of me, has died. I thank you all for the kind words and warm thoughts, they warm my heart. I am so thankful for photos like this one above. Look at the orneriness in those eyes. Boy oh boy...Love you Mom.
Thank you for sharing your feelings with us Mahala, and letting us have a glimpse into your soul during this sad time. The photo is such a moment of joy captured for you to savour forever. Your mum was precious, you are precious.. Peace and hugs, Kai
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I lost my father a few years ago to cancer. It's very hard to lose a parent, but I take comfort that families are forever. I really believe that. I love your post about roses. I grow them, too. Wishing you love and peace during this time.
These kinds of photos and memories will give you solace over time. You are very lucky you can even look at them right now as I couldn't look at photos of my Mom for a long time. Too painful for ME....everyone is different in what they can handle. Everyone grieves in their own way too and for me it did help to share my feelings. It helped to expose the most raw pain and yet the celebration of her life at the same time. My heart is with you all. You will find peace among the deepest time of missing her when you know she is free of pain and suffering. Maybe our Mom's and Naturegirl's Mom will meet and talk about their great daughters! Love you Mahala, Lisa XOXOXOXOXO
Dear Mahala.......my heart is with you at this time of sorrow. I know it will take a while to stop crying....it's good to grieve though and let it out. The grief bottles up too much otherwise. I hope you use your art to pour out your feelings. You are such a lovely spirit - you were a wonderful daughter to your dear sweet Mom Mahala.
