Saturday

What a lovely day it is, not too hot or too cold and with a breeze. Kids are in happy moods. Cats are sleeping. Customers coming in are all in good moods making for a comfortable day.
My mermaid for the mermaid swap is almost done AND I have shocked myself with how lovely she is. I made my own polymer clay cane for her bottom half and my oh my I'm so happy about her. Can't wait for the swap to be over so I can show her off. The only thing is ...she has some honkin' big lips! But hey she's a looker so big lips work!
Tonight we will dine at the I-HOP that has just been built. Mmmm...pancakes, waffles, fattening foods...what to have??
Well, here comes a customer to the door...have a great weekend.

D is for driving...and driving...

Yesterday, after a long drive to Tacoma, my daughter and I attended a Home Interiors rally. I won this cute little tree.It reminds me of Whoville from Dr Seuss. I like it.

As of Monday, our new drive is a Subaru. It is going off for brake work and detailing. We are looking forward to driving it.

Sleep study in my near future

In a couple of weeks this fella will be on his own for a night...he sleeps against me at night...well, whenever he can actually. I saw the sleep doc today and he thinks I have sleep apnea... so does my doc and the hospital...anyway, I am scheduled for an overnighter with hookups and all. The monitor your heart and your brain as well as the rest of you while you sleep. It oughta be interesting.
He thinks that my Mom and Sis should have one as well...hear that you two?

My neck hurts

I haven't been moving too fast these days. I hurt. My hands, neck, head,foot,arm....everything hurts.
I have to wait untill the pain is too much before the crushed disk in my neck is fixed. Well, I'm there...and my fingers throb and ache all the time. I can't even make a fist.
Had a heart test yesterday and am now changing the diet again...don't want diabetes or any of that. Monday I have an appointment with the sleep doctor.
I think that if my neck and hands were dealt with, I could sleep.
I don't want to go anywhere or do anything these days. I just want to find comfortable positions and be left alone.
Then again, I want to get out and do things and get stuff done. I want to go see my mom and visit my sis...
Sorta sorry for the whining...I feel better now.
Now to figure out the mermaid I wanna make for a swap...after I finish my sisters crow book project! Yikes much to do.

I haven't posted in about a week! Well, I am sharing my computer with my daughter until HP fixes hers, so I don't get to it much.
Tomorrow is letter C day. Mrs. Nesbitt has started a thing where you post a picture that goes with the weeks letter. It's a fun idea.
