Getting out

I don't get out much anymore unless I really have to, which lately hasn't been too often. Yesterday I did go out to Joannes and buy paper and bits for making some cards or ATC's or something and last week I went to the thrift store and picked up a few little books to alter. I've yet to alter a book, so it's a little intimidating to me, but I'll get there.
I think I would do more and make more if my hands worked properly. I've had two operations on my right hand and one on my left. Now my left is doing what my right hand did before it's second operation. I can live with trigger finger for a long time, I've done it before, but when I use my left hand for awhile, I get a horrible pain at the base of my thumb...bursitis maybe? I guess I should visit the doc. (my dad had arthritis)
Now I must get cleaned up, drive a half an hour down the interstate and drive my Mommy to the store. She's in her late seventies and doesn't feel well these days. I guess if I were having my liver fail I wouldn't feel well either. She has a hereditary condition that causes cirrhosis of the liver without ever drinking. She's in the final stage...no cure, just living and waiting. Am I in for that? It's possible. I don't drink either and thats a HUGE reason why. Oy...
Gotta go for now, Mom's getting antsy.
